    ritchman checking in. Is it a coincidence that we are team 1? as in NUMBER 1? I think not!

    Any body have ideas for team names? I have made animated banners for past teams and could put something together again this year if there is no objections or anyone else wants to create one?

    Doesn’t look  much like turkey season anytime soon here as we are expecting up to 10″ of snow here today in southern WI. My season isn’t until April 17 so snow should be gone by then anyways.

    Ritchman, I agree with the #1 Team comments.  Fate was in the draw.   All the other team might as well sleep in. :)

    IMO, have at it with the banner… all I can use is Crayons! {#emotions_dlg.mathews_embarassed}

    As for names… Beard Busters (not very original), maybe Head Smackers!  {#emotions_dlg.mathews_laughing}  Hopefully other team mates will have some good suggestions, as mine are pretty lame.

    Took these pictures from a property I hunt this past Sunday.

    This picture of running Jakes is fantastic.  Almost perfect… and all from a little cell phone.  No skill involved, I was just snapping away as fast as I could.  But I sure like the picture.  :D

    {#emotions_dlg.mathews_monster_red} I’ve seen some birds still grouped up and some birds strutting with hens. Our season opens in KY April 13th. Then going to TN, Ohio, and maybe VA. Counting down the days!!

    Wow, I like it too.  Even if it is quoting me.  Sweet.

    My season opened this past weekend.  I had 5 toms within 20 yards of my blind on Saturday morning. I was so excited, but no shot opportunities were there.  Yes, I cried!  ;)

    Saturday evening, I had three toms cruise by me as they were headed to roost.  I almost touched to the release, but I realized the Honest Shot opportunity was not there.  Yep, I cried again.

    Sunday evening hunt:  It was a total downpour the whole time.  I did get one Tom that seemed interested in my hens, but at 77 yds he decided something to wonder off.  No, I didn’t cry at this one, but I wanted too.  :)

    I hope to get an evening hunt in Tuesday night.  Maybe we will get points on the board soon.

    Sounds like we are all good with the banner so here is the html code. Copy the link, go to My Account, click Manage Your Account and scroll down to User Signature. Paste the link it into your signature area .You will need to add a [ before IMG and add a ] and after the /IMG to complete the string of code for it to display.

    My son will get to hunt this coming weekend. He is going to hunt with shotgun this first weekend and then look at purchasing another tag later in the season and try to kill one with his bow.
