I’ve been shooting the Grim Reaper razor tips for a few years now and I love them. I hunt only whitetail and use the 1 3/8″ cut at 100 grains. I’ve always felt that penetration is more important than cutting diameter so I’ve been leary to try the wider cut broadheads. That being said, it seems that wider cutting broadheads seem to be gaining in popularity. How many of you use the 1 3/8″ version vs. The 2″ version?

I still shoot the original 1 3/8. It cuts a nice hole and penetrates great

I use the 2″ white tail specials with my MR7. I shoot 70# 29.5″ DL and 400 gr arrow. Have 90 Ft-Lbs of energy and they blow through deer like a hot knife in soft butter.

Shot a Doe opening morning at 15 yrd. almost facing straight at my tree, put the pin between shoulder and neck and pushed it all most out the rear end.

She only went 25 yrds. I drug her head down hill and let her drain out before field dressing her. My buddy said he never seen a hole made by a BH that big before.

I will keep shooting Grim Reaper untill I can’t get them anymore.

I have a MR7 at 66lbs, 28.5″, 284 FPS, 438 grain full metal jackets. The 1-3/4″ and 2″ reapers are not checking up. Blow right through. They are so lethal. Very pleased.
