This is how I mounted mine on my mission it worked very well. The camera was out of the way and I noticed very little shock, however the limbs on the ZXT may be to skinny for this to work. There are also gopro mounts that attach with your stabilizer you can find them if you search around.
That was the same thing I though when I did that. It did not hurt mine on my mission if you take it off correctly. Don’t try to pry it off with something. You take a hair dryer or a heat gun works better, and heat the adhesive up and after it warms up it peels right off and you can never tell it was there.
