    oh well, i didnt draw a single tag this year.  i put all my hopes in the land of enchantment..NM.  no deer, no elk.

    looks like it is an OTC tag from CO or ID this year for archery elk.

    on the bright side, it is looking pretty good for me to go with my brother to Amarillo Tx, for a spot and stalk mulie hunt!!

    good luck gentlemen, and ladies.  i hope you all draw too many tags!!

    Sorry to hear that Vash, but good luck on your Tx hunt. Should give you something to do {#emotions_dlg.mathews_big_smile}

    Does NM system give better odds by entering the draw every year?

    I was unsuccessful as well. I heard that the non-resident New Mexico elk hunt draw has a 6% success rate. Does that sound right?
