    I so wish they would offer a bow around 34-35″ for those of us bigger people. I have two Creeds, and they are ok….but I want something longer that is more stable and looks like it fits a person who is called Squatch at work…lol!
    Hoyt bows...Easton DaTorch arrows, Carbon Express arrows,Ktech stabilizers, CBE sights, Carter and Tru Ball releases. Archery has helped save my life!

    When Mathews decides to build a 35″-36″ ATA hunting bow they’ll very likely get my $$ again. Several years ago they came out with the Prestige – time for an updated, longer riser, parallel limbed version.

    Until then, there are other companies that have thatarea covered.

    Give me the option of getting an MR7 with that 36″ ATA and I’d bite.  I’ve been wanting to get a bow and set it up for 3D, and that would fit the bill.  Problem is, I like my MR7 so much now that I’m not sure if it’s possible to like it any better with a longer ATA.

    I can not say that speed does not matter, but then it is not the whole story. The BH, the flight of the arrow must look like a dart going out there. The newest bow I will be shooting this year is a original Z-7, set at 50+ something? Just not sure and do not care. At 27″ draw, I get full pass through out to 40+ yards, and almost always get to see them go down, or at least hear the crash.
    I have no idea what the speed or the KE is and do not care. It is way more than I need. I killed my first deer at age 10 or 11, with the bow a friend of my dad helped me make from a hickory tree the winter I was 9. I would ride my bike to the archery range and find lost arrow’s. Clean them and file the few BH I would find. I shot grouse, squirrel, rabbit and my first deer with that bow. My quiver was an old pant’s leg sewed togather by mom  and it was full of lots of bent arrows.
    Wish I still had the thing.{#emotions_dlg.mathews_crying}

    I think that if Mathews does another year of another 30″ ATA single cam  as their flagship I think their dominance in the single cam  is going to erode.

    I thought they did great with the draw cycle on the Chill improving the shootability  of the Monster line. And that gives them room there in that line to increase the ATA with that smooth  draw cycle.

    I think they could have helped themselves much more on the single cam by going with a longer ATA Helim, than what they did with the Creed. A 32″ Helim would have been wildly popular compared to the reception the Creed received. IMO

    Especially with a 6″ bh.  I know some would not like that though.

    I just walked in the door from a local 3D shoot.
    Placed third in my class by the way….{#emotions_dlg.mathews_cool}
    Wow, I wont say the name of the company….right Rick{#emotions_dlg.mathews_wink}….but they had some of thier new 2014 bows there showing them off….and Carbon risers had us saying wow. Shot awesome quiet and felt so light….vibration was non existant.
    I used to just say oh well at them. No longer. I would love to see a AVS Monster model with a Carbon riser. Or the new Dynad cam system with a carbon riser model. Oh, and 33″ ATA please…
    Sure would make them more quiet and light.

    And BTW…thier carbon riser model shooting 330 IBO was less than $1,000.

    Thanx wratchet323 , I was about to think this is the ” Make mine longer” thread . I have not counted , but I think about 70% of the posts are calling for longer ATA bows. I must confess , I have only owned one bow . a  Z7xtreme for the past 30 months , and I have to remind myself every day 28″ ATA.

    I am 6′ 1 ‘ with a 29′ draw, I love to walk with my bow , and all the animals I’ve killed were walk and stalk method. No problem shooting 2′ groups at 45 yards.

    Please do not throw away short ATA bows if you have not spent enough time with them.

    Single cam with sleek slim limb look.  32 inches ATA , 345 IBO min.  Three to four inches of draw length adjustment, draw stop and solid back wall without a jumpy cam.  Wood style focus grip or wood inlays offered in grip options.  Machined (not a flimsy rod) reverse assist roller guard that does not chew up servings. Dead end like string stop with improved looks.  More attachment locations on the riser, and a nice two piece bolt on quiver.  Four pounds or less mass weight,  $900 or less.  I also like two string suppressors better than one.  Six inch or better brace height and a 55lbs max draw weight option.

    Sort of a cross between the Drenalin, Z7, Helium and the Reezen with a few improvements.  I think the draw length adjustment would be huge for most archers.  Also think Mathews needs to remember they are a single cam solid limb type of company and continue to build on that legacy.  They can offer split limbs and dual cams on the Monster line but not on their flagship model.

    Just my 2cents{#emotions_dlg.mathews_peace}

    There is a reason many are asking for a longer ATA bow.  Probably the main reason:

    Go into your archery shop, close your eyes and pick a bow off the rack – there is a 98% chance it will be a 33″ATA bow or shorter.  The market is flooded with choices in the 30″ata range.  Throw us longer ATA guys a bone.

    No problem shooting 2′ groups at 45 yards.

    Some of us like shooting 2″ groups rather than 2′ groups at extended distances…..{#emotions_dlg.mathews_tongue} Sorry, I know it was a typo, but I couldn’t resist!

    Isn’t the ZXT 28″??? Buy it and save money too!!

    It’s not as if those of us who prefer Longer ATA (32-35″) CAN’T shoot the short ATA bows accurately……It is more of a comfort thing….String angle, anchor point, stability etc. Sure I, and many other people, can shoot “well enough” to shoot a deer at 45 yards with the shorter bow, but I feel that a longer bow will make that shot at 45 yards more comfortable, and accurate, *for me.* There IS a reason why competition archers use longer ATA bows…..Don’t we owe it to the game we hunt to shoot the most accurate, lethal shot possible?

    My reason for wanting a longer bow??    In the past several years, Mathews has focused on short ATA single-cam bows (30″ or less.) The last single cams of longer than 30″ were the Z-Mag and EZ7. I thought the EZ was okay, but couldn’t get past using an old cam on a new bow…..Maybe I should have gotten one!!! The Z mag was ok, but I prefer a brace height of 7″+  to help clear winter clothing. I was not a fan of the Reezens before the Z series. Probably because I was turned off by the demo models before the harmonic stabilizer was developed….LOADS of vibration for a Mathews!! The HS helped a lot!

    IF the Creed was a little longer, …..and  if the draw cycle was more seamless, without the dump into the valley that I experienced on the bows I shot, I would have gotten one.

    Like Mr. McPherson said in his Creed introductory video, customers want to shoot a bow that they are comfortable with, which will enhance the overall experience of shooting.
