Well I haven’t been at this as long as some , let me rewind a bit tried it out with a 20ga 11 years ago, shot at a Jake nothing but feathers, gave it up, and bow hunting didn’t think it was for me. Picked the bow back up 5 years ago, and still didn’t turkey hunt for the first two years of that. Got close two years didn’t even own a blind, grazed one last year “even closer” , then I shot a hole in my blind on this year opener,so it was tag soup for the past 3 years. Until today April 24, 2013. 22lbs Double bearded THUNDA CHICKEN 9 1/2 inch main beard 3 1/2 second beard 1 inch spurs. Even better is I got to share my success with 96 year old grandfather. I’m sure you can all understand why that was so important to me. Also I’d like to thank Grim Reaper broadheads for making the baddest mechanical in the land white tail SS 2′ cut, he ran off maybe 15 yards after my Omen blazed thru him at 12 yards.
Doing what we do best Bow hunting Whitetails. Check us out on FB Brathas-Grimm Outdoors.
