    Does anyone know what the numbered posts on the Pro Cam are for?  The ends of my string connect to these posts on both sides of the cam, they are labeled 1,2 or 3.  I’m attaching pics of either side of the cam, as this is an older bow, hopefully someone remembers dealing with one of these…..I’m looking to shorten this bow’s draw length, looks like I can only go in 1″ increments according to the Mathews discontinued bow page.

    If these don’t adjust draw length, going to try and order a new cam from Mathews so my wife can shoot this one, right now it’s a little long….old, but there’s nothing wrong with it at all, and I’m betting a cam will run less than a whole new bow  {#emotions_dlg.mathews_thumbs_up}

    Thanks in advance if anyone knows.  It’s a 1/2 hr drive up to my shop, figured I’d at least ask so I know what I have before heading up there, might be able to just call if I am ordering a cam.

    Beings that the string is on post #2 on one side and on #3 on the other, your bow is 1/4″ longer than it’s shortest position. The string really should be on the same peg number on each side. You can have/do it the way you have it shown, you just will need to check the nock point position(if the string is on the same peg number, nock point doesn’t change, only draw length(and draw weight minutely)). Find the draw length you need and your local Mathews retailer can order any parts you may need. You may also want to make sure that your wife can handle the draw weight, if not, you would need to get lighter limbs as well. Shoot straight!!

    Awesome thanks Pa Hunter – it’s been set up that way since I had that new string on….but I’ll have to order a cam anyways to shorten it up enough for her.
