I like these two the best, Rip Cord and QAD HD.
I have to say QAD HD.All We Do Is SELFILMED

Trophy Taker Extreme,, Quiet as can be, and the Trophy Taker is a Proven rest,Over and Over
Joined: 5/10/2008I have not used a Rip Cord, and it may also work just as well.
The QAD on my bow works perfectly every time.
It is mechanical, and has a lot of moving parts.
For that reason, I keep a WB in my bag just in case I am on a trip, and have QAD problems.

What is your favorite full containment drop away rest.I have been using the QAD rest for a while but eventually if you shoot enough the internal spring gets weak and the rest will not drop all the way so I am shopping for something new
How long did you shoot before the spring gave way? A few years?
Can’t imagine this being a throwaway type item.
Can it be sent back for replacement?
Joined: 2/14/2008Got to say the QAD here also!!
Joined: 6/15/2008I have only shot this new rest since I got the new bow prolly 2 months I do shoot allot but I have had the same thing happen on 2 diff. rest the rest drops but not enough as it gets older and the blazers will not clear. When it is new it will drop beyond flat but as it gets older it is just a hair b4 flat causing the blazer to contact the last 1 we sent back they said the inner spring had failed.I am going to call QAD on this 1 and try to fix it myself because I simply love this rest when it is working properly.
I am not sure how 1 would go about fixing the weak spring issue but the last few my dealer has replaced QAD told him the spring was weak.Is their a diagram or instructions some were on how to adjust it???
Can you send me a blown up pic of this I just talked to someone at QAD and they said their was no way of doing this if I could just increase myt spring tension a tiny bit i think it would fix my issue.Do you have any pics of the brakes they seem to think it might be something in the brake.

yep no drop away but it never fails, no springs to wear out, no arm gettin slow about gettin out of the way of my smokin fast arrow. and beyond belief it doesnt effect arrow flight or shootability like most people think.
