    Hey all,
I have entered the Extreme Huntress competition for 2015 and have been selected as a semi-finalist!  I need all the votes I can get to make it to the top 6 to go head to head in a filmed skills competition in Texas http://777ranch.com .   I am an avid bow hunter and I undoubtably shoot a Mathews! The voting process helps them determine how well I get their message out about women who hunt.  The Extreme Huntress competition is all about preserving our outdoor heritage for future generations. They like to say if mom goes hunting so will her children.

I need to get the message out to as many people as possible.  This is huge for me, a small town chic going against a world of huntresses!  Voting is only open till June 1! Please don’t wait, go vote now!!

If you are on Facebook you can double your vote and please share the link and get the word out to vote for me!

I’ve invested myself to the sport, made sacrifices and work hard to play hard.  I know I would be a great choice to represent women hunters and would be a great role model for all generations.

Download the Extreme Huntress App to follow the competition.

    Thank you for your support!

Can I ask a question? What did you do with the giraffe?

Nope I’m missed the most important part!¬† on the web @ http://www.extremehuntress.com/vote¬† and on facebook¬†@ https://www.facebook.com/#!/extremehuntress

The Giraffe was processed just like any other animal.¬† We ate some for dinner that night¬†and oh by the way it was¬†awesome,¬†and the rest is food for the staff & community.¬† Most outfits are hooked up with organizations to feed children and large groups as to not waste any animal.¬†¬†Unfortunetly the¬†US does not allow us to import the meat.¬†As far as the trophy goes it is finally on it’s way to the States where¬†I will eventually have it mounted.¬† It was an incredible animal to take with my bow and¬†I would do it over again given the opportunity!¬† Thanks for the questions!

Very cool. Didn’t know you could eat giraffe. Did it taste like chicken? Hahaha… ok, just kidding.

Just glad that it didn’t go to waste just for a trophy.
