The wife and I are thinking of investing in a DSLR Camera… I know alot of you guys on here have a passion for photography and I thought I might solicit your advice.

This camera will be for personal use to take pictures of our kids, vacations, etc.  I don’t want to spend a fortune on it but I’d like to get the right thing the first time.

First, Which model do you recommend?  Second, I have seen some of these bundle packages with the extra zoom lens, tripod, and 16GB cards… Good idea to get the bundle or are these items better purchased seperately?

Any advice you want to throw in would be great!

    Thanks,
    Reggie
