in the market for a dog trainer collar for a stubbord dog the 3 i am looking are tritronics sport dog and dogrtra, read some reviews and leaning towards the dogtra, if anyone has some insight or tips i would love to hear them
I got this one for my dog. Rem270 did/does a lot of training with his hunting dogs and recommended the dogtra ones. He actually sent me one of his to try (different model than the one I got as he wanted a longer range for his) It works really well. I don’t use it for hunting but for keeping my dog in the yard and correcting her bad behavior.
thanks for the replies, also it is a large dog around 90-100lbs and stubborn, and models i should look at , must be water proof. i have a cheaper pet safe shocker/beeper but half the time it turns off so im looking for some better quality and
Dogtra and tritronics make great collars. The one I sent Sticks was a tritronics and it is water proof with a mile range and would be able to handle a large dog. What you want to look for is a collar that you can change the barbs for short and long hair dogs . They also make collars that come with a beeper so you can warn them before they get shocked it don’t take long for them to get the idea. But you can also ruin a good dog by over shocking him.
But you can also ruin a good dawg by over shocking him.
Now you’re getting personal…….and besides that’s not exactly how it happened.
