What do you use and why? [/size:7s9y0kvs] I used Muzzys with my old bow, switched to Spitfires when I got my Outback because the Muzzys would not group for me at almost 300 fps, then switched to Montec fixed blades and they group with my field tips.

i have used mech. broadheads, but i prefer the cut on impact type. i now am using the nap nitrons. they fly with field point out to 60 yards.

I have had good luck with fixed blades. I’ve never shot over 250 fps, so most of the time i have no trouble with broadhead flight. [=}=]

Slick tricks an I’m going to try Tightpoints next. I really like the Tricks 4 bld 1 1/8 mag. Most accurate fixed 4-blade I have ever shot.

Fixed Blade…I just like them because they are a no nonsense and almost failsafe option.
I have some mechanicals that I haven’t hunted with yet…but I do like the way they fly.

I shoot fixed blades….. Razorcaps! I have never tried mech. Broadheads because they are illegal to use on big game in Oregon. However my fixed blades fly so good that I wouldn’t need them anyway. :thumbup

Fixed blades so far. 100 gr. Thunderheads.

Was debating whether or not to try some mechanicals this year, but after I got the XT and switched to carbon arrows too this year I decided to not change everything….. since the Thunderheads are flying fine….. it was hard to justify changing……. at least for this year.
