    After reading this i checked my creed and mine is making the noise also coming from the bottom cam. after shooting it i did notice a small rattling or twang sound. Is this something that i should have fixed asap? also if i should have this fixed asap, i purchased the bow over an hour away and have Mathews dealers closer to where I live and work, can they help me with this fix? or do i have to go where i purchased the bow? Thanks

    I looked into it.  The serving size on some of the original strings are causing the twang. Mathews took care of the issue by adjusting the serving size on the Mathews Genuine strings. It will be covered by warranty for original owners.

    when i tap the bottom limb is when i hear the light rattling, sounds like its coming from the cam. just curious how the serving could cause the rattling noise? I read on here something about a loose bearing in his cam… could there be two different issues here? ahhhh bow season is just around the corner and i now have questions about my new bow that is all tuned and ready to go. always something it seems

    If you tap it and hear the twang, then place a piece of paper between the string and cam you will see that its now snug and won’t make the twang…..I’m not sure why the serving being small in the groove makes that noise, but it does.

    If your hearing a rattling noise from your cam when you tap it, I advise you to check the torx screws located in the within the cam holding it together.

    I noticed tonight that my Creed is making some sort of Twang noise at the point of the actual shot. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix?

    Same here, very annoying, cannot find the problem!{#emotions_dlg.mathews_brick_wall}

    I am having this same issue on my SB XT. It has done it for as long as I remember. I just had the string and cable changed last week and the noise is still very present on both cams. Has anyone found the real solution to this buzz?

    Different bow and very possibly a very different solution to your problem.

    http://mathewsinc.com/forums-home/topic/fix-for-creed-noise/ I posted on this thread a potential solution to this problem that a Mathews Top Pro shooter showed a friend how to resolve the noise.
