I recently bow the Creed and shot it no more then 40 times. I check the limbs today and found that the limbs are cracked….. Is this normal? I read up on some other forums saying that there creed limbs broke and exploded on full draw… I definitely don’t want that to happen to me.. help me guys, is this normal? I took it back to the archery shop and they say its paint chip from mathews machining it and it should be fine…” I don’t think it is fine.. What should I do.. Any of the creed owners in here please see is your limbs are cracked like mine and let me know if its fine… please..

If you take a cotton swab and rub it over the limbs and if it catches on the cracks then it needs more of a inspection. Warranty should take care of a limb problem. Mathews has an excellent reputation for taking care of the bows and their customer under the warranty.

I just looked at mine and there are little yellow lines on the upper and lower cams where the cams bend when I draw.  Any others have that?

Just checked mine and man does that suck. I have like 10 tiny little cracks in my limbs. good news is it looks like it is only cosmetic but they need to do a better job finishing these bows.
To take an animal with a bow is better than taking it with debit card.

It should be replaced. Have your retailer call Mathews Warranty and it will be taken care of.

I had my yellow lines on my limbs checked and my dealer said its part of the camo. I also saw a few spots on my riser as well.

Mine are cracked in the same exact spot (the crack looks the same) and just dropped the bow off with the tech, he looked at it confirmed that they were in fact cracked and actually found another crack on another limb. He ordered me a complete new set of limbs and it should be ready for pick up sometime next week.

Any recent findings on the little yellow cracks?  I inspected my Creed today and found several dozed 1/16″ to 1/8″ little yellow cracks on my limbs.  From my best once-over, it looks like they are concentrated to stress points on the bottom set of limbs.  These are not like the random yellow specs in the camo pattern found elsewhere on the bow riser, but rather, cracks on small bunches focused on stress points where the limbs meet the limb pockets and where the draw stop hits the limb.  I don’t see any in the upper limb set, just the lower limb set.   Mathews Moderator/Tech, please advise.

I got mine checked out at 2 different dealers and they say its part of the camo but I can’t see how. I’d like to hear what a Mathews Tech has to say.

Yup I got those too. I thought maybe it’s the paint cracking.
