Let’s start off with the statistics: I will be using the bow primarily for 3D, my draw length is 29.5″, and I am 6’3″ tall(if that has any bearing on the situation).
My question to you is, among the Apex 7, Conquest 4, and the new Drenalin LD, which would be best suited for my intentions? Thanks for your time.

A7 would be my choice. [=}=]

Wish I would have kept mine. #-o

C4 has been a proven winner last year for many of the top guns.

I haven’t shot the C4, but everything that I have read about it and heard from other people is that its awesome.

Out of the LD and A7 (I own both), I’m going to have to go with the LD. Its far smoother, shoots just as accurately, lighter and only 5 fps slower than the A7. I normally wouldn’t care about the weight of the bow, but I like the fact that I can put the weight wherever I want it… instead of being stuck with the additional weight in the riser. Plus, when I put the A7 side-by-side with the LD, there is absolutely no difference in the height of the bow…. so the string angle should be nearly identical.

Don’t get me wrong, the A7 is a GREAT bow. I just think I like the LD a little better.

I don’t quite have the money for a new LD setup right now, but I found a deal on an ’07 apex 7. It’s Black-out blue, 50-60lb limbs, and 28.5in draw(have to get that changed). It comes with Toxonics sight with scope, 8X lens, GFK rest and a 12″ Doinker stabilizer for $625 shipped. What do you think I should do?

I just got it set up this past week and love it, drill X’s like crazy, I will be shooting 3D outdoor soon with it. IMO I think it is the best aiming and smoothest shooting bow I have ever held.
I know several shooters who have left the A4 and went LD.
I also know a couple of Hoyt shooters who have went with the Drenalin LD, if that means anyhting to you.

Thats a toss up. I bought a A7 because it was allot cheaper used than a new one. Although, if Mathews ever came out with a Rootbeer LD I’d have a hard decision to make.

Apex 7. If you get a Camo one they are a good huning bow as well.
