    My MSU Dawgs already knocked off the Rebel Bears in Starkvegas Thursday night and are headed to a bowl game for a 4th year in a row (may not mean much to ya’ll but it’s a big deal for us). {#emotions_dlg.mathews_thumbs_up}  And I saw a great game last night where again “records don’t matter” OR over OR State “in a thriller”.

    In other games:

    SC over Clemson
    GA over GaTech (even with Murray out)
    Duke over UNC
    OSU over Big Blue (this could be a laugher unless Fats is able to suit up)
    AL over AU (it came up heads 2 out 3 times {#emotions_dlg.mathews_whistle})
    USC over UCLA
    ASU over AZ
    FSU over FL in a route
    Mizzou over A&M
    Stanford over ND (in the “I really don’t care” category)

    Enjoy the day!

    Updates – Gators getting trounced at the half and Alan must be in Ann Arbor (21 all at the half). Looks like Thunderchicken & Deere Farmer need to suit up for the Bucks.  Duke & UNC game still too close to call also.

    In other news – Pellini at Neb and Muschamp at UF will return in 2014.

    And I’m just going to go ahead and say it…….no way FSU’s Winston should win the Heisman this year. Period!

    Just saw this… I didn’t see 21-21 at the half…  I thought it was going to be closer than all the talking heads were letting on.  In rivalry games you always throw the records out and you see who shows up to play.  The emotion is huge, the pride is huge and honestly, Michigan is so frustrated with the level of play and under performing that I wouldn’t be surprised if it comes down to the wire.  I know who I want to win it…

    Well OSU and Michigan came down to the wire like Allen said it would . Battle was on like it is every year with this game, you can’t under estimate the desire in this rivalry.

    Then they should clear him or indict him, otherwise he wouldn’t get my vote if I were a voter.  Period! {#emotions_dlg.mathews_peace}

    Your Noles may win 2 more but it won’t be against Bama.  Another miracle on “the plains”!{#emotions_dlg.mathews_shocked}

    I know crazy stuff today. Glad it went down like it did obviously. I get what your sayin in Jameis, it just could all be for a crazy chick lookin for attention, and if it were up to just “on the field” stats and numbers, Jameis Winston is ahead by a mile

    Heck of a game Allan……..sorry it didn’t turn out for you and Big Blue but what a battle!  Your coach made the right call I think in going for 2 – it was his best shot.  That game is the essence of college football and why I enjoy watching. {#emotions_dlg.mathews_thumbs_up}

    Dont’ get me wrong – it’s not an easy decision for me but this could be cleared up very easily IMO.  He’s a great athlete and if it were based solely on his on-field performance, I’d give it to him now.  However, the Heisman is just different!  Ask Reggie Bush.

    Agreed, and also agree on Michigan goin for it. Why not take out an undefeated team that showed weakness?? That is a bold call, most right now saying its a terrible one, but if the 2 point conversion worked, its the call/play of the year

    Going for two points in that situation is a “Tin Cup” call.  You win by dialing up the play…  If it works you are a hero because you had confidence in your team to pull it out.  If it doesn’t work, you demonstrate you have the stones to make a gutsy call like that and it just didn’t work, but you’re the type of guy that “goes for it.”

    He was playing to win…  Bo would have made that call.  Woody would have made that call.  If you respect and understand the two schools and the rivalry they have, you understand why he went for two…  Lot’s of people don’t get it, and it ain’t up to me to explain it to them.

    Yes, all fine and good. But, after re-instituting its football program this year after a 13-year hiatus, will the Carleton Ravens be more competitive next year? {#emotions_dlg.mathews_big_smile}

    I don’t know if we’ll have “all the answers” but we’ll certainly have more evidence with which to speculate.  {#emotions_dlg.mathews_laughing}
