    Hello, I’m in the market of a new bow. What bow is known to be the best of the 4? The Creed, Chill, CreedXS, or The ChillR? I understand not many people had the experience to shoot the new bows, but let me know what you guys though! Thanks!

    I shot the Creed XS and Chill R at three different shops, and bought the Chill R.  It shoots extrememly well.  The Creed XS was a little too short and “jumpy” for me. I would consider the longer Creed, but not the XS.  It just didn’t fit me.  YMMV.

    I am 13 and I shot the Creed XS at 65lbs. With no problem except one time the bow jumped like you said and It pulled foreword and I had to let one fly and Missed the target. I liked the 2013 Chill. Haven’t shot the ChillR yet because the shop hasn’t gotten them in only two demo bows. Also haven’t shot the Creed though.

    But, as as a 13 year old the XS is ideal for me but it seems no bigger than my old youth bow. I think I want a Chill or ChillR.

    Wait and shoot them all side by side and let the shooting of them tell you the bow that felt and shot the best.

    Something to consider, the Chill R takes modules to change the draw length and it faster and cheaper than buying a draw length specific cam for the Creed XS. I mention this because being 13 yrs old you’re draw length will most likely change in the next five years and the Chill R can grow with you.

    They are equally good bows, the main difference being the IBO speed ratings and perhaps the string angles at full draw, which may or may not be a factor depending on DL and preferred style/form.

    Personally, I do like to use the 65% letoff DL modules that are 1/2″ shorter to compensate for the DL increase when I back off the AVS-bows for target season. A set of DL modules are relatively cheap compared to a new cam. Like said, shoot them and decide.{#emotions_dlg.mathews_thumbs_up}

    If money is an issue, check out the Mission Archery Blaze and Ballistic, which are economical versions of the ChillR and Chill with the same IBO speed and specs.

    I know what you mean “Bow Drawn” The cams run for 90 bucks where as a 15 dollar module. I want to shoot them side by side but, my local bow shop didn’t get the in for sale yet. I would like to set them all up for me and shoot the consistently. Money is not an issue. This is my christmas present it’s just on the one I want. The bow shop gets them in next week. Next week my Thanksgiving break starts and I plan to go down for a few hours on a day I have off on, and shoot them. Thanks guys! Glad to have such friendly people even to a 13 year old!

    I have tried all four.  I did not like the Creed XS as well.  I liked the Creed and the Chill about the same.   I was leaning to the Creed because of the solocam.  I waited for the dealer to get the Chill R in and shot it this morning.  Now I am undecided.  The longer axle to axle seems good, but the 6 1/8 brace height is not as good.  Trying to get this for my birthday so I don’t have to wait for Christmas!!  I don’t want to hijack the thread, but I am pondering the exact same dilemma.

    I went back and shot the Creed and the Chill R several times and decided on the Creed.  Shorter axle to axle for the ground blinds with 7″ brace height.  I really believe any of the 4 would be a good choice.  It comes down to “how you going to use it?”  Good luck deciding on yours.  Mine should be in on Friday if the weather allows normal delivery.

    I am undecided between the Creed and the Chill R. I feel the Creed XS is too small for my liking. The Chill r can adjust draw length with just a module instead of a full cam replacement as stated before. I also like what I see with the speed of the Chill r. However, you cannot beat the back wall of the Creed. Decision, decisions…

    I went to another local bow shop and shot some BowTech bows and I could possibly walking out the door with an Experience or a Carbon Knight. Going to shoot Matthews again to see what I want.

    I went and shot both the Creed XS and Chill R. I think I have made my decision. The Chill R shoots AWESOME! I was also a bit impressed with the Creed XS. Loved its back wall. Everything about the Chill R felt right though. The shop is going to call me when they get a lost camo version in.

    I went and shot the 4 bows again and I decided on the Creed XS loved the smooth draw and not too slow for a solo cam! nice and maneuverable and a perfect size for a teenager like myself.

    Of the four mentioned, I preferred the new ChillR. Loved the draw cycle of that bow.
