Well, there was a post on here the other day where someone complained the Chill was having a tuning issue and it was related to the limbs; so I wouldn’t say it was not know of here…

Mastery of the English language poses a problem, perhaps providing a link could clear it up. [=}=]

I’ve said this before, but I sure wish this forum had a “like post” option…

That is talking about the creed not the Chill Tomp.. I have yet seen a post about Chill tuning issues. [=}=] [=}=]

Meant to say creed, as the thread was referring to both and I had gotten confused, as to the one I read with the limb concern. It sounds as if both are getting the update and its just my assumption that thy have similarly designed pockets and limbs.

i will post pics when i get back there its an hour away.. Just swung through the shop i used to work at cause finished my building project a little early and was in the area and they asked if i could help switch out the limbs and pockets. its really not a big deal but u can see the upgrade just looking at the limb pockets the red plastic or whatever they used now comes up capturing the limbs better to keep them from moving side to side..Free for those who have creeds already its like warranty work [=}=]

The Dealer here called me yesterday to bring my chill back to have it pocketed and new limbs.

:D There are new limb bushings being installed…I would imagine only previous bows that had a rubbing issue on limb pockets would replace limbs…

You may have the most trouble of any Hoyt owner I know with getting things fixed.

It would appear my inside info was wrong after reading all these posts.

Again it is the fastest action I’ve seen from any manufacturer on addressing the problem with a fast fix to it.

I know, I know #-o … but I’m not the only one. My dealer is a Hoyt/Mathews/Mission/Darton dealer, so he isn’t the problem.

One of our local Hoyt ProStaff Shooters recently went with PSE because of the lack of Hoyt service and ‘could care less’ attitude.

I knew Hoyt’s warranty sucked from the git go, but bought the Contender Elite because it is really a very nice shooting target bow…I didn’t realize Hoyt’s CS was worse than their warranty ](*,)

we recieved a package that was waiting at the shop when we returned from the mathews show.it has update kits for the creed and chill. i will be installing them tonite and will take pics and post them. i must say i was disappointed that this issue was not even mentioned as we were ordering 90 new bows for stock. on the flipside ,it’s great that the issue is already being resolved.

But if you ordered bows, they should come with the kit already installed, right? But you would think that they would mention something like that anyway…

    The end is near....
