    Hi guys
I just bought a Monster chill 70lbs, 29″ draw. I will be shooting 28.5 to 29 ” arrows 100gr point. According to the Easton chart I can go with Flatline 340. I should be able to turn down to 65 lbs if need be. The archery store was saying I could go with 400, but I think they are light for that setup.
Anyone shooting this same setup with 340?
I will be using a whisker biscuit, peep and loop?
    Thanks
P.S. Got home after work, and just got drwn for Moose!!!

This thread was posted here if you want to see what they said. Personally I would think the .340 are going to be weak in your setup and for the other threads as well. The .400 spine arrows your shop recommended would be extremely weak. I think the .300 will be the right one like OT2 recommends. The Monster bows like a stiffer spine. Myself I have tried the .350 type arrows out of my 28/70 MR7 and they don’t group well where the .300 do much better for me. Just my {#emotions_dlg.misc_2cents}. Enjoy the new Bow!

    Hi Guys
I went back to the arcery store and turned my bow down to 65lbs. You were right the arrows were underspined. At 65lbs it punched bullet holes through the paper. So to shoot max weight I should have went to 300’s. I may cut the arrows to 28″ and see if I can turn it back up???
I also grouped excellent at 25 yards.
I will shoot the broadheads soon to see if they shoot like the field tips now that it is tuned. I am shooting the thunderhead razor broadheads.
I am a little sceptical on the mechanical for moose?
    Thanks
    Paul C
