Read thread concerning this. I have removed the old grip and have recieved the new one. My question is about removing the old glue. Worried about damaging bow finish on riser. Any extra tips and tricks for doing this?
I usually just take my thumb and rub the glue. It balls up and comes right off for me… And even if you mar the finish, it’s under the grip anyway…
X2…before I used any chemical on it I’d do my best to get as much as I could off by just rubbing it with your finger. If I remember correctly I might of used a tiny bit of the GOO Gone to get it 100% off…but you dont really have to.
