    Hi

I try to replace the factory cable rod on my Mathews C4 with the ArcTec cable rod, removed the screw but could not move the factory cable rod out of the riser.

Is there anyone out who as done this already and has some advice for me?

    Thank´s

    Hi
I too would like to replace the rod on my Conquest 4 with a ARCTEC but impossible to remove the rod, perhaps it is stuck or glued  inside.
    Regards

You need to get the bow wrapped and protected in a vice. Cut the rod off about 1/8th inch above riser. Use a drill bit just a shade smaller than the rod in your bow. Now be very carful and use a verrible speed drill. Do not just drill normal, but tap-tap-tap. Be carfull as when you get to the bottom, the rod is in with JB weld and as soon as the bitt hits it it will sort of grab. The JB will turn to dust, then just clean it out and finish. It is not as hard as it sounds, just use good tools and your head.
