I did not vote because I have not shot a deer yet with the G.R., however I plan to try them this year along with a couple of other heads in my quiver. That being said, I have had great success with the Tekan II head. Between a couple of buddies and brother in laws, we have killed many bucks and does with these heads. They fly awesome and penetrate extremly well. Just my 2 cents. :thumbup

I didn’t vote because I’ve not shot either. IMO their a a ton of quality stuff out their and the decision today is pretty much Mechanical or fixed. Most will do the job.

I’ve killed 4 deer with the GR’s. None have gone further than 40 yards. Very impressive blood trails.

To date I have shot a deer, a coon and a tree rat all with the reapers. The tree rat and coon didn’t go anywhere and the doe went maybe 40yards.

Between the 2 I would choose the Tekans for 2 reasons……

    1.) Solid steel design.

2.) The Reapers have too many moving parts (springs, collars, washers) and are just an overall PITA in my opinion. I know they work, I know guys swear by them, but after 2 weeks of toying with them I just don’t like the design. I like how the blades are set back from the tip but other than that not much left an impression on me.
