I can’t explain it but I just love this time of year…cooler weather and you can tell its getting ready for fall, harvest and hunting. Just something about time in the woods…its good for the soul! Tonight I went out for the first time…saw a handfull of geese, a racoon, an owl and a yearling with mommy at the edge of the corn and beans. No bucks, no arrows were launched and still just a great evening in the woods!

    Love this time of year….

    Time to relax….

So many of us completely understand what your saying.
It should never be about the success of the kill while out hunting.
The success is in being there….

To soak in the sights and sounds of our world while stalking or waiting in a tree stand = pricesless.

I know exactly what you mean. I have been out working food plots, putting up stands, glassing fields, and running trail cams.  Just being outdoors makes me feel good.  Today the truck showed 97 on the thermometer.  I was sweating like crazy but still enjoyed it.   Good luck hope you kill a big one.
