like to shoot em with the shotgun, way more mobility and you dont have to be sitting in a blind. Its also nice to not have to track or wound your bird
I also wanna say, I dont mean that wounding or tracking is going to happen if you shoot them with the bow. I know you guys drop em in their tracks with the bows, but Ive never had one move after the 12 hit them in the face
I’d prefer to use a bow, but this year my surgeon told me to use the shotgun (recovering from shoulder surgery).
He’s right. I can hardly pull back my wife’s 25# stick bow without some pain. Doubt if I could reach 50# by middle of the month. He said 25# is my limit till I see him middle of the month any way. He did say I should be back to shooting by June.
Maybe next year. We’ll see if the scatter gun can find some feathers.
