OK everybody… I can’t decide what exactly I would like for my upcoming birthday, so I’m going to have you guys help me decide! ( [-o| Please! [-o| )

I bought a new sight after last season, a Trophy Ridge Nitro, which I really like. The only part of it that I don’t like is the .029 pins… I would rather have .019 pins like I shot last year. With this new sight, I have noticed my group size increase a little bit – which I do not like at all. :thumbdown :thumbdown It seems like the sight pin covers up too much of the target I’m shooting at and then it spreads the arrows over a larger group.

    So here are my options…
#1 Could I get a “Power Plus Lens” that Trophy Ridge makes to fix my groups? I’m thinking that it would sort of “cancel-out” the bigger pins because the target would appear bigger as well. Would this work?? If this would work, what power of lens should I get 2x, 4x, or 6x??

#2 Should I scrap the Nitro and go with a Trophy Ridge Matrix because they offer the .019 pins with the Matrix and not the Nitro? (Please don’t tell me that I should switch to Spott Hogg, Copper John, Cobra, etc… cuz I’m already doing this –> ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) )

#3 Anything else that you guys can think of that I’m not thinking of. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks in advance everyone.
    Chad

I won’t tell you that you should scrap it and get the brightest and one of the toughest sights out there the HHA.

I picked #2. Stick with a similar sight if you think it’ll help.

I won’t tell you what to buy, but I will say that I have a Vital Bow Gear Pro-slide (would get the Star Track if I did it again) with ONE .019 vertucal super-bright pin. It doesn’t cover very much target AT ALL.

If you like the sight, you could just buy new pins for the sight…….they have the .019 pins as an accessory in 3 and 5 pin kits for both styles of pins. I don’t know which you’d need but this may be an option so that you could get something else for your birthday and just spend less than half the amount of a new sight on the pins……..

    Just a thought…….

I really like the .029 pins. They are really bright in low light conditions and i’m getting older by the day……. [=}=]
    (maybe the larger pins size is why I haven’t RH’d yet……. :?: )

    ;)

Oh, by the way, I picked Option #3
