    Well, I checked my trail cameras and got a picture of this big boy. Probably the 2nd largest bear I have ever captrured on trial camera.  Hope to cpature some more pics and vids of him!

    From this photo it’s hard to tell much about the sex and size but the head size and neck looks like a mature bear. It might be a big bore or sow looking at the large rear end. Sure would like to see more pics of it that you get.

    i dont know a thing about bears.  seen plenty.

    how do you know it is big?  proportions?   i dont see a size reference.   educate me please.

    If you want some great reference material on sizing a black bear look at the Archer’s Choice’s dvd collection of bear’n down. They can help sex a bear as well and that’s always a tough one.

    The shorter the legs look, the shorter the neck looks (no neck is great), the smaller the ears, the bigger the bear.
