Looking for opinions on the best compromise for overall bow mathews/monster, hunting, 3d, Indoor. I have 29-29.5 draw and would shoot 60-65 lbs max. Yrs ago it was the mq1, I have been using the SB and S2 for the last few yrs and am thinking its time for a change/upgrade. I really like to string angle on the SB/S2 so unsure of the 30″ bows. Z7mag, prestige (with over rotated cam), mr series. Any opinions appreciated…i owned a mq1 years ago…(great bow) also owned the zmax back in the day. love my z7x it has a great feel and for being short ATA it is very staple and extremely quietYeh maybe I am a little old school and am reluctant to change. but would like to try a newer bow and was looking for one that would be a primary hunting bow abut would also be good for target work.something like the switchback .. decent ATA and brace .. could cover the full range of needs..not familar with the monster series but i know alot of guys that shoot them on target leagues and do wellYou are currently shooting the best there is…The end is near....

Correct this. For that ATA and doing it all it will be hard to beat this platform.
Mathews S2 / Copper John 4-pin / QAD HD LD / Worlds Best Strings / 808 Bowslings / Easton BloodlinesThe new CHILL is a very impressive platform.
Although it is on the short side, it has a nice draw and hold, respectable speed, and not torquey.

Keep the opinions coming…
Never have had a chance to see much of the mathews 2 cam bows. They do seem interesting and the cams are very large which would help with string angle.I’m going to second the chill statement. So far I am still working on tuning but for just a paper and walkback tune, I am impressed. Planning to broadhead tune next.I think you would like the MR8….Its a shooter!!I think you would like the MR8….Its a shooter!!
I would say this as well. Either the MR8 or the MR7. I was a die hard SB guy myself, but after owning an M7 for the past year or so, the SB doesn’t compare. Don’t get me wrong, its still a great bow, just starting to show its age.
SCFox
M7 Schaffer Opposition Axcel HD Axion stabThe specs on those MR bows are appealing to me. What is the big difference between the monster 7 and MR7?You are correct on the SB starting to age and this is why I am looking for a change.
Also had an interest in the Z7 magnum

The MR 7 and MR8 both are very good shooting bows. And I have both as well. However if weight is a issue for you the CHILL is much lighter and if you want more weight, use it to perfectly balance the bow in YOUR hand.
As I said in my earlier post the CHILL is a very impressive platform.
Coming for a guy that ranks the SB very high on his personal all time favorite bow list, the CHILL is nipping on the heels of the SB.
Hope this helps you. Have a great day!Chill
