    He guys, I haven’t bee around in a while!! Have been dealing with a sick dog and he has had all of my attention as of late. Long story short, he did a stint in the hospital for renal failure and made it home to be with us for about five days before we finally had to have him put down. He lost his eye sight, no strength to do stairs, wouldn’t eat or drink. It was certainly no way for him to love the remaining days he had left. He was only 8 years old and he was a good dog and a good friend . I will miss him dearly!!! RIP dear friend, I will miss you!!!

    Sad deal and I know it’s like one of the family – been there — hope all goes well getting over his passing away.

    Very sorry to hear about this. As have others, I’ve been through this and it stinks – no two ways about it. {#emotions_dlg.mathews_crying}

    Thanks everybody! I have owned dogs my entire life, this one seemed to have hit me the hardest. Definitely isn’t the same walking through the house with him following behind or not being greeted at the door. In time, I will definitely get another.
