I currently have an 8.5″ B-stinger w/ 11 oz weight, and I’m considering replacing it with a Stokerized SS1. Thoughts? Anyone tried both? Setup will be primarily for hunting purposes.

Brian (Bjarcher) would be a good source of information on this possible change in stabilizers. :thumbup

I’ll be 100% honest…I’m strongly considering getting the SS1. I used the B-Stinger all last fall and it was just a bit cumbersome hunting with.

Something to try is the Limbsaver end B-Stinger makes. I picked one up to see how it would hold for stalks and such. I shot it for the first time at 50 yards yesterday, which was also the first time I’ve had a chance to shoot my new setup at that distance and it still held a 6-8″ group. I will primarily use the 8oz weight but this is going to be another option for me.

My brother shoots an Elite Pulse and has the Stokerized SS1 and loves it. He also has the Nulceus side bar on it.

Sold the b-stinger cause it made my hunting setup feel like a shovel load on the front of my bow.

Stokerized SS1 looks promising but have not tried one as of yet.
