I read the thread about which drop away rest was the favorite and it seemed that the qad was the fav. Which rest do you prefer, a whisker biskit or the qad and could you tell me y? I’d like some opinions b4 I give up the wb and drop 130 dollars for a rest I don’t know if I’d truely like.

Any dropaway can be more forgiving to shoot than a fixed rest at the moment of truth. I’ve found nothing to dislike with my QAD yet and it’s all but silent on the draw which is much more than I can say about a Biscuit. [=}=]

QAD is a better rest. It may be more complicated than the WB, but it IS more forgiving than the WB. The reason it is more forgiving is because it doesn’t contact the arrow for as long as the WB does. You would be amazed how much torque you can put on a bow in a thousandth of a second. Get the QAD HD and you won’t be disappointed. If you are I will buy it off of you. :thumbup

You might also look at the Hostage/Catawba rest (BowTech). You can see some information at the following:

What noise does the WB make… :smt15

I know I’ll be using the WB rest for hunting. :thumbup
