I have a Bitzenberger, and it gets the job done.

“yeppers the bitz clamps need to be modified. it is a simple fix you just need to file about a 1/2in area at the top end of the metal plate so the clamp will sit on the jig correctly.”

Jerry, can you be a little more specific about this modification? I recently bought a Bitz and have trouble with the front end of the vain making good contact. Thanks!

EZ fletch mini works just as well any on the market for 99.999% of the shooters.

If you think you need a $300 jig…………well I bet firenock is glad you think so. LOL

Bitz is all I’ve ever used. Never had a reason to experiment with anything else.

Give me a call sometime it is better to talk about the modification rather than put in in print. Also you may need to do some minor adjustments to the jig as you modify the clamp.

I’ve had a Martin jig for about 40 years.   It is poly-carbonate material.  I’ve always used the straight clamp that does a fine job with off-setting.  Just this week I got a right helical clamp for it.  I’ve only tried one sample vane for set-up purposes and I’m very impressed with the results.  It’ll be seeing a lot of action shortly.  It is a basic jig but very effective in what it does, which is is one vane at a time.
