I am currently using Bohning Helix Blazer jig 3 (degree right). I recently started and have only done 2 dozen but love this jig. It’s the only jig I have used so i can’t comment about other jigs. For the money, it does great. I don’t do alot so it’s perfect for me….

First a disclaimer! we are not on staff, we do not stock and sell this jig. We get no payment for generating business for the manufacture, we simple love this jig!

The best one is brand new and made by Firenock!

We have 1 turn table with Bohning Helix Jigs, two with Bitz Jigs and we are in the process of building one with the new Firenock Jig.

This jig is by far the most expensive jig available today but by far the best. This jig has the strongest magnet we have seen on a fletching jig and it is micro adjustable. Currently the manufacture is working on a laser alignment tool and an adjustable chuck so it will work with every arrow shaft size on the market. This jig has allowed us to fletch Duravane Fusion so well we have added them back in our fletching options, needless to say we are very impressed with it.

The biggest issue is the cost, but if you have to have the best this is it!

I fletched hundreds of arrows with a cheap Grayling for years and it worked great and we still killed critters…but that was before. 8D

The aerovane clamp is straight, but you can use your bitz jig clamps on it as well (right and left helical).

Yea I saw that but the bitz needs to be modified to work and I just switched over to Helix because after a year of testing I find the helix to be more forgiving and work better than the 1.5° offset with any other clamp with blazers[=}=]

Yeppers the bitz clamps need to be modified. it is a simple fix you just need to file about a 1/2in area at the top end of the metal plate so the clamp will sit on the jig correctly.

It is the most precise jig on the market and hands down the best made but the price is over the top! With every option available you can have close to a $1000 in one jig!

To be honest once you have a bitz setup correctly it is a great jig the aerovane jig doesnt do any better job on most vanes. I bought the six I have for one vane, Duravane Fusions, I have tried for over 2 years to get Fusions to set on shafts perfectly and havent been able to accomplish it. I had actually stopped offering Fusion vanes. Now I can put those bad boys on any shaft 99.99% free of bubbles under the foot. I have almost $900 in 6 jigs just to do one vane, I dont know if I am insane or just a tat too anal.

Thunderchicken21 and I talked to a Oriental guy at the Firenock booth at the Ohio Deer & Turkey Expo. Man that jig they make is very sweet but expensive. That dude is a little hard to understand, but very intelligent.

They have the adjustable chuck design out, should be out in market soon.
