I have taken deer with all of them in the past. I voted for the one with “other”. I stabbed a deer to death one year that I found lodged between two trees while hunting in West Virginia. It was a doe and she appeared to have been there awhile. I still haven’t figured out how she got in that predicament.
Bow, rifle, shotgun, muzzle loader, cross bow (that was after the drs, told me I would never shot a bow again 2 years ago) then switched to left hand and proved them wrong. I am thinking about getting one with my 357, but so far I haven’t tried.
Shotgun, rifle, bow, muzzleloader….. in that order from childhood to present. Have the Ruger Super Redhawk in .44 mag with a Leupold 2X scope just waiting for the opportunity at a deer – unfortunately I haven’t had the time since getting the gun to use it…… but within the next couple of years it will bag a deer!
Other????? Does that mean spear, atlatl, bowie knife, bare hands…… ????? Just for reference I have an uncle that grabbed a deer by the back leg as it came by and he “bagged” it using only a knife……… but that was in the old old days before I was born………
I’ve connected with bow, shotgun and muzzleloader.
No rifles allowed here and when I hunt up in northern Wisconsin I go with a muzzleloader, instead oif rifle.
I enjoy muzzleloader hunting… you only get one shot… so you need to make it count just like bowhunting.
