Lowes, Home Depot, Best Buy and Sears would be the places I would compare. We needed a new washer and dryer a few years ago, went to all the above and HH Gregg (not sure in other areas but HH Gregg around here is horrible), ended up buying from Best Buy they had the best deal and washer and dryer we both liked.

Most places do the 0% interest now for 12-18 months. Best buy did that when we bought our washer and dryer

Best Buy is out of the question for me. Nothing but very bad customer service IMO. We bought a cd from them and it didn’t work. Had the reciept. All I wanted was an exchange. Service guy said he can’t do it because he believes the cd is a bootleg. The police escorted me and my son out of the store.

I bought our fridge from Lowes with a 10% off deal I got when changing my address. The coupon actually expired before I bought the fridge, but they still honored it :thumbup

Lowe’s has always been good to me as has a couple of the locally owned stores. I bought a new washing machine recently from a local store and they had the best prices. [=}=]

We had good luck with Lowes on a washer.(Samsung Frontloader) Always went with Sears before, but this time tried something different. As mentioned, Lowes price matches, you can even get the 10% off as well if they are both in stock items. If you do the extended warranty thing( I normally don’t, but my wife burns up a washer every 3 years), Lowes extended warranty starts after the factory warranty ends. As far as I know, none of the other stores, especially Best Buy and Sears, do that. Theirs start at the time of purchase.

We put the GE Profile series in our new home. It’s huge with lots of storage. Originally, it was more than we wanted to spend but we have a Bargain Supply here in Louisville and saved quite a bit.

  Wow! We got lucky and had a girl that was super friendly and very knowledgeable when we bought ours, just luck of the draw. I Lowes around here usually has a better selection than Home Depot. Hopefully you have one of each close and can hit both to compare.
