I have been contemplating switching from a Tru Ball Tornado wrist release to a 3 finger release for about 2 years now and haven’t made the leap. Does your draw length change with this switch? I really don’t want to drop the $ on a new cam also
70 lb Left Hand Mathews HTR set at 63 lbs.
29 inch draw
28 inch Beman ICS Hunter 340 at 412 grains
100 Grain Rocket Steelhead (old stock)
Shooting 273 fps avg after 8 chrono
It can change the DL depending on the T Handle release throat but usually you can adjust the string/cables and DLoop to make up for the differences so you do not have to buy a new cam. You will most likely have a different anchor and will have to adjust everything else such as peep, sights and kisser (if you use one) to accommodate the new anchor.
your dl may change, it all depends on what release you choose. best to go to your local archery shop and try different models. like bow drawn, my dl did not change when i picked up a used carter insatiable 3. but i have my wrist release set fairly short.
