Glad your having fun!
Good Luck tomorrow Bird… get us started in the right direction!!
I’m not feeling to good about tomorrow.
I pulled the cards on two cameras yesterday to decide which stand to hunt. The feeder had nothing, the other location where the big bucks were had one doe with a fawn.
I’m having a coyote showing up almost twice a night around 11pm and 3am. I’m guessing he might be running my deer off.
So I have decided to move to another spot next to some large oaks and see how that goes. My barber told me he noticed acorns starting to drop around the lake (seems early to me) and years past I’ve had deer to leave the corn for the acorns so I’m hoping this is the case. If this doesn’t work I’ll focus on some main trails deeper in the woods.
I have a feeling I might have to do some coyote hunting real soon to improve things down the road.Checked my camera for the first time… Couple of does and forkys visiting pretty regular
Filled the feeder with protein pellets and moved the camera over there… Maybe i’ll get some better action with the food than with the minerals
