I was able to get an arrow into this gobbler on Friday April 25 at noon. Called in one tom about 15min prior but could not get a shot. I kept calling and a few minutes later 2 more toms gobbled across the field from me. After a couple minutes of calling back and forth, they finally marched right in to the decoys and this tom gave me a great 15yd broadside shot. The Mathews Switchback XT sent the CX Piledriver hunter tipped with a Wac ‘em Triton 125 broadhead thru the onside wing joint and into the off side hip. He was able to stumble down hill about 5o yds and piled up. 24lbs, 9″ beard and just shy of 1″ spurs.
