Below is the our harvest so far in Ohio. The first is my buck taken on the second day. With my DXT. The second pic is my wife and my special muzzleloader season does we killed within minutes of each other. I took mine with my T/C Hawken rifle. The last is a pretty cool story. My son was hunting a ground blind And shot a doe. After tagging it and walking to truck he heard some commotion coming through the corn. He knelt down in fence row and shot the second doe all in the same night. And yes his bow is a bear but still cool. So the wife and him are now looking for a couple good bucks. I’ll post if they kill.

Thank you and I know, I have a few bruisers on film for the wife and son to get a crack at this year. I shot a little early on my buck and hes not the biggest in the area for sure but, I travel alot and never quite sure when I can hunt. (sounds like a reasonable excuse) but I can’t complain I said when I went out that day I was going to shoot this buck due to his cool rack. Had him on film last year and he was a 3 year old this year this year.
My oldest son really just started bow hunting again and has only killed one other buck. He lives in an area of the state that doesnt have the deer poplulation or areas to hunt as we do so even a year and a half old is tuff to come by for him.
And of course last night while doe hunting about a 130 incher cruised by me. But hey its all fun! I dont get all caught up in the mines bigger then yours craze. Its about having family fun and I’m looking forward to getting the rest of the family on shooter bucks!thanks for sharing the story and the pictures…Congratulations!!!!Pass on the Congrats to him, nice looking buck and big bodied.
