    Tapatalk isn’t showing threads as new replies or not. There’s no blue dot by any threads anymore? I don’t think I’m gonna post much here anymore.

    It won’t let me edit posts either? This new format ruined this place…

     For as much as I love this place, I WILL just have to get used to it. In the long run it will be a much easier forum to use. I think??????

    I’ve not run into major problems other than the Bow Case but I really don’t need it anyway.

    Getting used to the change(s).

    Not sure if Mathews Inc has noticed…but the traffic on this new forum is at an all time low.

    Just a suggestion, change the format so it resembles some of the more successful archery forums and the traffic might improve.

    Something else…this new forum seems to be slower than the old forum…don’t know if others have the same issue…maybe it’s just my puter.

    Sometimes, a “change” ….does not equal “improvement” !

    I’ve been on AT a lot more lately too.  Looks like it’s gonna stay that way.

    I noticed something is wrong with your signature also.  Huge spaces in between each written line.  Have to scroll for 2 minutes just to get to the next post.

    I agree!  the more I use it, the more I get use to it.  I have noticed some changes / adjustments.  I noticed on my phone that the Google browser runs faster, but still doesn’t show a few of the features.  Mozilla shows all the features, but is a lot slower.  Sometimes it is slow enough that Mozilla shutsdown.{#emotions_dlg.mathews_peace}

    Yeah, but the “getting use to it” is like having a sore tooth and “getting use to” chewing on the other side of your mouth…

    The end is near....

    Did strikes transfer? I just don’t know how I can go on if I can’t manage my strikes?

    I see the “insert/load images” changed to “Add Media” which works much better … at least it is closer to being idiot-proof so even I could figure it out.{#emotions_dlg.mathews_thumbs_up}

    Now, if the graphics were only optimized … an important issue since the web pages are graphics intensive.

    Example: 1. Creed.png 90.9 kb

    Creed_Camo_3-4_2-260x575

    Example 2. Creed.png using .jpg compression, 60 kb … a 34% savings at very little image quality loss but loss of background transparency.

    Creed_Camo_3-4_2-260x575

    3. Creed.png changed to indexed color with transparency and true color preserved, 25.9 kb … a 71% savings at a small loss of image quality.

    Creed_Camo_3-4_2-260x575_indexedcolor

    Balancing which graphics should be high-quality and which can be compressed and at what compression level, offers substantial improvement in page load time, server storage demand, and web site performance. Use of CSS in place of image insertion and secondary server to reduce server overhead/time is another way to improve the website. … just a thought. {#emotions_dlg.mathews_peace}
