Morgan and Boothe Named ASA Shooters of the Year

  After the ASA Classic tournament was finished, all of the scores from all of the ASA tournaments were added and the shooters of the year were announced.

  In the Open Pro class, Levi Morgan won the award for the sixth consecutive year.  Mathews finished with five of the top ten finishers in the class.  The rest of the top ten included: Joseph Goza, 4th place; Jeff Hopkins, 5th place; Brandon Reyes, 6th place and Thomas Gomez, 9th place.

  In the Senior Pro class, Colin Boothe won the Shooter of the Year award in his first year in the class.  Mathews shooters finished with eight of the top ten places in the class.  The rest of the top ten included: Randall Jones, 3rd place; Scott Price, 4th place; Todd Shultz, 5th place; Bart Larson, 6th place; Bill Sennick, 7th place; Richard Freeland, 8th place and Lynn Morrison, 9th place.

  In the Women’s Pro class, the top Mathews finisher was Jeanna Allbritain.  Allbritain finished in second place.  Third place went to Kailey Johnston.  Mathews finished with nine of the top ten places in the class.  The rest of the top ten included: Sharon Carpenter, 4th place; Samantha Morgan, 5th place; Andrea Nicholson, 6th place; Alicia McHenry, 7th place; Ginger Morehead, 8th place; Connie Calloway, 9th place and Kaitlyn Price, 10th place.
