Ruddock Wins NFAA Outdoor Nationals

The NFAA Outdoor National Field Championships were held July 25 – 29 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.  This tournament is a long test for the archers skills and endurance.  When the winners were announced, Allan Ruddock won the championship.

In the Senior Pro Male Freestyle class, Allan Ruddock won yet another NFAA tournament.  Ruddock had a final score of 1695 and won the championship.  Second place went to teammate, Jackie White.  White had a score of 1692 to finish in the runner up spot.  Mathews finished with four of the top ten finishers in the class.  The rest of the top ten included: Tom Coblentz, 1676, 4th place and Tom Crowe, 1669 in 10th place.

The top Mathews finisher in the Pro Male Freestyle class was Kendall Woody.  Woody had a final score of 1702 and finished in second place.  Mathews finished with four of the top ten finishers in the class.  The rest of the top ten included: Braden Gellenthien, 1699, 5th place; Duane Price, 1698, 7th place and Michael Anderson, 1693 in 10th place.

In the Pro Female Freestyle class, Christie Colin was the top Mathews finisher.  Colin had a score of 1675 and finished in second place.  Mathews finished with three shooters in the top ten.  The rest of the top ten included: Alicia McHenry, 1662, 8th place and Sarah Lance, 1661 in 9th place.

In the Pro Male Freestyle Limited class, Emory Budzinski was the top Mathews finisher.  Budzinski finished with a score of 1607 and finished in second place.

Mathews shooter Lexi Keller continued her hot streak this week by capturing the championship in the Young Adult Female Freestyle class.  Keller had a final score of 1646 to win the title.
