Robie Wins Iowa Pro/Am

  The Iowa Pro/Am was held January 15 – 16 in Mason City, Iowa.  This is the first major indoor tournament of the season.  Around 550 competitors were in attendance and the competition was fierce.  When the final scores were announced, Sally Robie walked away with the first indoor title of the year.

  Sally Robie has had very good success in tournaments and the Iowa Pro/Am in the past.  Well, this year was no different.  Robie turned in a score of 680 and won the Female Freestyle championship.  Holly Larson had a score of 674 and finished in 4th place.  Tristan Skarvan was seventh with a score of 672.

   In the Male Freestyle class, Braden Gellenthien was the top Mathews finisher.  Gellenthien had a final score of 687 and finished in second place. Other Mathews shooters that finished in the top ten included: Michael Anderson, 687, 6th place; Cody Thompson, 687, 7th place; Jimmy Butts, 686, 8th place and Jeff Hopkins, 686 in 10th place.

  In the Male Freestyle Limited class, Emory Budzinski was the top Mathews shooter.  Budzinski had a score of 627 and finished in second place.  Dustin Landsinger finished in fifth place with a score of 615.
